Best Keto Bread Recipe | 1g Net Carbs Per Slice! Diet Program

tophealthyguide December 25, 2019

Keto diets have become incredibly popular in recent times thanks to their great effects on our weight and health as well. There are many keto recipes that are more delicious than anything else, and the good thing about the keto diet is that it doesn’t feel like a diet at all. Today we’re going to show you a nice keto bread recipe that you can eat safely every day without fearing that you’ll gain weight.

The bread is quite simple to prepare and is a perfect addition to a low-fat diet. It won’t take too much of your time and once you try it, you won’t go back to regular bread again!

The Secret Step

The secret to the delicious keto bread is the separation of the egg yolks and whites. Separate them from 6 eggs, then beat the whites until they’re fluffy. This will give the bread some volume and will counteract the density that comes with almond flour.

The problem with almond flour is that sometimes the product is much denser than you want, but with this simple trick, you will prevent it and get some air pockets into the loaf of bread which will make it all the more enjoyable.

As we said, the bread is a perfect addition to a keto diet and the perfect alternative to white bread as well. Here’s what you need to do:

Keto Bread Recipe:

Ingredients

*6 eggs (separated whites and yolks)

*¼ teaspoon cream of tartar

*1 ½ cup almond flour

*3 teaspoons baking powder

*4 tablespoons butter (melted)

*A pinch of salt

Preparation

The first thing you need to do is heat up the oven (375 F). In the meantime, beat the whites until they’re fluffy, then add the cream of tartar and continue beating until there are soft peaks.

Mix everything else in a food processor (or blender) until you get a nice dough.

Now, add the whites and process the mix until everything comes together. Pour the dough in a pan lined with baking paper, then bake for half an hour.

If you’re unsure if the bread is thoroughly cooked, pinch it with a toothpick. Once it’s done, take the bread out, leave it to cool down for a bit, then enjoy.

There are 20 slices of bread per dough with this recipe.
