Easiest Aldi Meal Plan: 14 Premade meals for under $150 Delivered

If you’ve never been able to stick with meal planning long term, then you need to break it down into smaller steps. I created this Aldi meal plan as an easy way for absolutely anyone to be able to set a meal plan for two weeks and stick to it, eating at home.

Fair warning? This isn’t your average meal plan where they tell you to make your own bread or soak beans (insert eye roll here). Because this is the meal plan for the people who have tried and failed at *those kinds* of meal plans dozens of times.

  • Have no time to cook because of sports practice, unexpected overtime, etc.

Cheap, Quick, and Easy Dinners

These super cheap, quick and easy meals from Aldi can get you used to cooking at home with almost no effort or will power needed.

Because let’s face it… it’s 2020 and with the constant demands of our families, house and work… Sometimes we just need to hit the easy button and get a list of cheap meal ideas that we can put on auto-pilot for a while.

The best part? It’ll save you a ton of money too! You can get the ingredients for the full two weeks of meals (each meal serves 2 adults and 2 kids) delivered straight to your door for less than $150.00.

The Easiest Aldi Meal Plan Ever

2020 Aldi Weekly Meal Plan and Shopping List

Italian Sausage with Peppers, Onions, and Spicy Brown Mustard Served with Baby Carrots.

Ingredients:

  • Sweet Italian Sausage Links $2.89
  • Peppers (sliced) $2.55
  • Onions (sliced)  $1.99
  • Sub Rolls $2.09
  • Spicy Brown Mustard $.99
  • Baby Carrots $.99

Instructions:

  1. Cook sausage according to package directions.
  2. Add a few drops of olive oil to a frying pan and cook onions and peppers until soft (about 7 minutes).
  3. Add cooked sausage, peppers and onions and spicy brown mustard to the sub roll.
  4. Serve with baby carrots on the side.

Beef Tacos with Lettuce, Cheese, Tomatoes Served with Guacamole and Tortilla Chips.

Ingredients:

  • Ground Beef $ 5.78
  • Taco Shells $ .99
  • Taco Seasoning $ .35
  • Iceberg Lettuce $ 1.09
  • Beefsteak Tomatoes $ 2.65
  • Guacamole $ 3.29
  • Corn Chips $ 2.09

Instructions:

  1. Cook ground beef in medium pan until brown and crumbly (no red or pink left).
  2. Mix in taco seasoning as directed on seasoning packet.
  3. Chop Lettuce and tomatoes.
  4. Warm taco shells in the microwave.
  5. Fill taco shells with ground beef, lettuce, tomato and then top with cheese.
  6. Serve with guacamole and tortilla chips on the side.

Thin Crust Pepperoni Pizza. Mixed Greens topped with Dried Cranberries, Chopped Pecans, and Feta Cheese with a Homemade Balsamic Dressing.

Ingredients:

  • Mama Cozzi’s Thin Crust Pepperoni Pizza $ 5.49
  • Little Salad Bar Spring Mix $ 2.09
  • Happy Farms Feta Crumbles $ 2.45
  • Southern Grove Dried Cranberries $ 1.45
  • Southern Grove Chopped Pecans $ 5.79

Instructions:

Note about dressing:   I can’t believe I used to buy dressings. Even for a girl with a palate of a 5-year-old,  I think homemade dressings taste a MILLION times better than store bought. And the basic ones are brainless easy (and impossible to screw up), plus they’re cheaper and save room in the fridge.

  1. Cook pizza according to package directions.
  2. Mix 4 tablespoons of olive oil with 4 teaspoons of balsamic vinegar and 4 teaspoons of honey.
  3. Mix or shake dressing (can be refrigerated for a few days and used later, we recommend letting it come to room temperature before re-using).
  4. Lay greens in bowl and top with feta, cranberries, and pecans, then drizzle dressing.

Slow Roasted Pulled Chicken Sandwich with BBQ Sauce and Beans

BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Honey Mustard Served with Coleslaw and Baby Carrots.

Ingredients:

  • Appleton Farms BBQ Pulled Pork $ 4.39
  • Hamburger Buns $ .85
  • Little Salad Bar Classic Coleslaw Mix $ 1.45
  • Baby Carrots $ .99
  • Honey $ 3.09
  • Dijon Mustard  $ .99

Pantry Items:

  • Sugar
  • Mayonnaise
  • White Vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Cook pulled pork according to package directions.
  2. Add cooked pork to a hamburger bun.
  3. Combine equal parts honey and dijon mustard in a separate bowl.
  4. Toss coleslaw mix according to directions in a bowl.
  5. Serve with baby carrots on the side.

Pork Carnitas in a Flour Tortilla with Peppers and Onions, Cheese and Sour Cream with Salsa Served with Southwest Chopped Salad.

Ingredients:

  • Park Street Deli Pork Carnitas $ 6.59
  • Flour Tortillas $ .99
  • Onions (chopped) $ 1.99
  • Shredded Cheese $ 1.99
  • Sour Cream $ .89
  • Salsa $ 1.35
  • Little Salad Bar Southwest Chopped Salad $ 2.99

Instructions:

  • Cook pork according to package instructions.
  • Soften onions in a few drops of olive oil.
  • Once cooked add pork, cheese, sour cream, salsa to the tortilla.
  • Serve with Southwest chopped salad on the side.

Cheese Tortellini with Pasta Sauce Served with Baby Green Beans.

Ingredients:

  • Cheese Tortellini $ 1.99
  • Pasta Sauce $ .95
  • Extra Fine Frozen Green Beans $ 1.75

Instructions:

  1. Heat Tortellini according to package directions.
  2. Warm sauce in the microwave.
  3. Microwave green beans according to package directions and serve.

Hawaiian Chicken over White Rice, with an Asian Chopped Salad and Hawaiian Rolls.

Ingredients:

  • Park Street Deli Hawaiian Style Chicken $ 6.59
  • Ready to Serve Rice (2 packages) $ 2.65
  • Little Salad Asian Chopped Salad Kit $ 2.99
  • Hawaiian Rolls $ 1.65

Instructions:

  1. Follow package directions to prepare chicken and rice.
  2. Toss salad according to package directions.
  3. Serve with Hawaiian rolls.

Cheesy Scrambled Eggs and Sausage Served with Blueberry Yogurt and Toasted Pecans.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs $ 1.18
  • Milk $ 2.32
  • Shredded Cheese $ 2.49
  • Original Pork Breakfast Sausage Links $ 2.49
  • Blueberry Yogurt $ 3.19
  • Southern Grove Chopped Pecans $ 5.79

Instructions:

  1. Add a pat of butter to a frying pan and melt on medium heat.
  2. Whisk eggs and a splash of milk in a bowl.
  3. Add shredded cheese to the bowl and mix.
  4. Add the egg mixture to the frying pan and stir frequently with a spatula.
  5. Cook eggs until no longer runny.
  6. Heat sausage in the microwave.
  7. Scoop yogurt into a bowl.
  8. Toast pecans in a dry pan on medium heat for 5 minutes then top yogurt with pecans.

Chicken Alfredo Skillet Served with Garlic Toast and Sweet Peas.

Ingredients:

  • Bremer Chicken Alfredo Skillet $ 3.65
  • Mama Cozi’s Pizza Kitchen Garlic Texas Toast $ 1.75
  • Frozen Sweet Peas $ .89

Instructions:

  1. Prepare chicken alfredo according to package directions.
  2. Bake garlic toast according to package directions.
  3. Microwave sweet peas.

Tex Mex Chicken Wraps Served with Apples.

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup Salsa $ 1.35
  • 1 tablespoon Taco Seasoning $ .35
  • 10 Inch tortillas  $ .99
  • Iceberg Lettuce $ .85
  • Tomatoes $ 2.65
  • Can of corn kernels  $.49
  • Can black beans  $ .55
  • Frozen crispy chicken tenders  $ 6.39
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese $ 2.49

Pantry Item

  • Ranch Dressing

Instructions:

  1. Whisk taco seasoning, ranch dressing, and salsa in a bowl.
  2. Cook chicken tenders according to package directions.
  3. Heat black beans and frozen corn in the microwave.
  4. Chop the cooked tenders,  tomatoes and lettuce.
  5. Add chicken, black beans, corn, lettuce, tomato, shredded cheese and whisk dressing on a tortilla and fold.

Meatball Marinara Subs Served with Caprese Stacks.

Ingredients:

  • Bremer Original Meatballs $ 4.85
  • Spaghetti Sauce $ .99
  • Sub Rolls $ 2.09
  • Priano Fresh Mozzarella $ 2.65
  • Tomatoes $ 2.65

Pantry Items:

  • Fresh Basil (We have 1 basil plant in our house and it lasts about 4 months.)

Instructions:

  1. Cook meatballs according to package directions.
  2. Heat sauce in the microwave.
  3. Mix meatballs and sauce and add to sub roll.
  4. Sprinkle sub with cheese and bake in oven at 350 degrees until cheese is melted.
  5. Slice Fresh Mozzarella and Tomato.
  6. Serve on the side a slice of Mozzarella, a slice of Tomato and a fresh basil leaf stacked.

Bacon Cheeseburgers Served with Sweet Kale Chopped Salad and Grapes.

Ingredients:

  • Frozen Burgers $ 7.59 (2 lbs)
  • Precooked Bacon $ 2.75
  • Hamburger Buns  $ .85
  • Little Bar Salad Sweet Kale Chopped Salad Kit $ 2.99
  • Grapes  $ 2.19

Instructions:

  1. Cook burgers according to directions.
  2. Melt a cheese slice on the burger.
  3. Add burger and precooked bacon to the hamburger buns.

Instructions:

  1. Cook chicken tenders according to directions.
  2. Combine equal parts honey and dijon mustard in a bowl and mix well.
  3. Slice apples and remove the core.
  4. Serve apple slices and baby carrots on the side.

BLT Sandwich Served with Chicken Broccoli Cheese and Potato Soup.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Cook bacon in the microwave according to these instructions.
  2. Wash Lettuce leaves and cut tomatoes into slices.
  3. Add lettuce, tomato slices, bacon and mayo to the bread slices.
  4. Heat soup according to directions.

Ingredients:

  • Fusia Mandarin Orange Chicken $ 5.85

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Mandarin chicken, rice, vegetables, and egg rolls according to directions.
